This is a full-time contracted position with a full-benefit package.

Education required:

· Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

· Two (2) years of experience in public health or health related occupation where the skills, knowledge and other abilities can be demonstrated.

· Education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Special Requirements:

· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. You must complete required training courses once you are employed. This will require overnight travel.

· Must be able to use computers efficiently.

Scope of Work

· Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Assists in identifying community needs, participation in health education program planning, facilitate classes in K-12 grades, attends community and school events regarding prevention and education. This position will promote positive health behaviors and will work to reduce or eliminate health risk and behaviors. Will also require overnight travel out of town throughout the state for meetings/trainings. Occasionally will be expected to work hours before 8:00 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m.

Compensation and hours:

$18.07-22.46 or more based on experience.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week. Normal hours will be 8:00-4:00 but there will be late clinics as well as travel for training. Two paid 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute non-paid lunch.
